The EAS was founded by internationally acclaimed astrologer, Chris McRae. The first meeting was held on Star Date December 10th 1977. The EAS was conceived as a vehicle to enable people with common astrological acumen to share their ideas. Membership consists of people at all levels of expertise in astrology; from beginner students to professional astrologers. The society’s success is due to its’ members powerful desire to work together towards building an enduring organization, as is evident to this day. Many founding members remain active in the society.

The Astrologers of Calgary
We meet the first Wednesday of every month, to share what we know, learn from each other, and be with others who speak our language. We are delighted to be able to say that our group includes Pluto generations from Cancer to Scorpio, and we look forward to the arrival of Pluto in Sagittarius. As we collectively learned from many different sources, we enjoy and respect all perspectives and views. Anyone wishing to join us is welcome, regardless of their level of knowledge.
